The Buying And Selling Websites Boom Is Back – Here’s What You Need To Know

 This is something that I have been trying to teach for a very long time now. Not only is website flipping back, it is back in a bigger way than anyone could have possibly anticipated. You see, many old school website flippers will argue until their teeth fall out that this is an age old market that has never really slowed down, however, as the demand for the dot com is rising up again, there has never been so much demand as there is right this very moment.  

 There is one big difference between now and then however, and that is that the dot com boom was contributed to by a large collective of corporates, who at the time, were some of the only people who could easily afford to be online. If we look at the current boom that we are experiencing, one thing is clear. Those who are in this market are not corporates by any means, they are people just like you and me, which means one thing. When the corporates get the idea, they will come in droves. 

 One of the most important things that you can do right now is build up a portfolio of websites. This is one of the hidden secrets that many online marketers will not tell you, their portfolios consist of websites in just about every conceivable niche from all corners of the internet, and have proven income potential. These portfolios don’t just stop and ten or twenty websites either, we are looking at hundreds, if not thousands. 

 All that is really left from here to learn is how to sell websites. Ultimately this is what it all comes down to, ad without this skill, you are simply nothing more than a sitting duck with a few pretty websites. You can sell websites on well known marketplaces, forums, or even by approaching buyers directly, the choice is yours. 

 Create What People Will Want To Buy 

 As with absolutely any kind of sales environment, the key in all of this is to get into the mind of the person that you would like to buy your website.Think about what it is that they would want to buy, how they would want to buy it, where they would be looking for it, and so on. Most importantly, consider whether the website will actually make this person any money, as above all else, this is what will determine your end price more than anything else.  

 The most important thing that needs to be considered here is that buying and selling websites is not all about just that. It is about creating business opportunities that are ready to go, that are sellable, and in demand. If you don’t have any of these, don’t expect to sell a dime. 

 Where Can I Learn More?  

 Learning how to buy build and sell websites is just one thing. I know how to knit a jumper, does that mean that I am good at it? Not at all, because I haven’t implemented that yet. I’m sure if I practiced, I would get better, and the same applies to the website flipping market. The more you test and refine, the sooner you will be able to establish a profitable business model.
